How we source, store, mill, sort, test and pack every lot of rice at our own mill in Taraori, Karnal, before it is loaded for export.

Our Mill in Taraori, Karnal

Our rice mill stands in Taraori, Karnal, in the heart of Haryana's Basmati belt and close to the paddy markets of Haryana and Punjab. Paddy storage, drying, milling, colour sorting, testing and packing all happen on one site, run by our own team from intake to dispatch.

How We Procure Paddy

Good rice starts with good paddy. We choose every lot ourselves, check it on arrival and store it with care before milling.

Sourcing from farmers and mandis
Each season we buy paddy from farmers and grain markets across Haryana and Punjab, lot by lot and variety by variety: 1121, 1509 and 1718 Basmati, plus Sugandha and other non-Basmati rice.

Checked on arrival
Every truckload is checked for moisture, grain length, variety purity and foreign matter before we accept it.

Stored and aged
Accepted paddy is stored in covered stacks and aged before milling, so Basmati cooks longer, fluffier and more aromatic.

From Paddy to Packed Rice

Six steps inside our mill, each one checked before the next.

Pre-cleaning

Removes dust, straw, stones and light grains before the paddy goes in for milling.

Drying and parboiling

Paddy is dried to the right moisture for milling. For Steam and Sella rice it is parboiled and dried here first.

Milling and polishing

Husking, whitening and polishing remove the husk and bran while keeping long grains whole.

Colour sorting

Kinetic Sortex optical colour sorters reject discoloured, chalky and damaged grains and any foreign matter.

Grading and packing

Grains are graded by length and broken percentage, then packed to order in 1 kg to 50 kg PP, non-woven, jute or BOPP bags.

Loading and dispatch

Packed rice is loaded for container stuffing and shipped from Mundra or Kandla in 20 ft and 40 ft containers.

Packing & Private Label

We pack under the MSG brand or fill and seal bags in the buyer's own brand and artwork.

Storage

Storage for 5,000 MT of paddy and rice on site, so we can supply year-round from the same crop.

Logistics

Shipments leave from Mundra and Kandla ports in 20 ft and 40 ft containers, on FOB or CIF terms, with all export documents prepared by our team.
