Like its predecessor 1121, 1718 Basmati Rice is treasured for its naturally sweet aroma, often described as mellow and nutty. This aroma intensifies during cooking, making it a preferred choice in fine dining, traditional Indian cuisine, and international kitchens. Its delicate fragrance blends seamlessly with spices, herbs, and meats, enhancing the sensory appeal of any meal.
Popular in the Middle East, Europe, the USA and the GCC for premium dishes and food service.

1718 Basmati is a farmer-friendly variety that requires less water, shorter maturation periods, and fewer agrochemicals, compared to traditional Basmati strains.
